16th Arabesques is an ornamental initials font from GLC Foundry, drawing on the intricate floral and arabesque patterns found in Renaissance-era engraved letterforms. Each uppercase character is densely decorated with intertwining botanical motifs, giving it the look of something pulled from a 16th-century title page or illuminated manuscript. Strictly a display face for drop caps, chapter openings, and historical design work where the elaborate detail can be appreciated at large sizes.
