Alternate is a rough, angular uppercase face from imagex with heavily distressed letterforms that look like they've been carved, stamped, or left out in the weather. The irregular edges and gritty texture give each character a raw, physical quality that works well for posters, album art, and grunge-inflected branding. It's a headline-only kind of typeface, best used big where the worn details can do their job.
