Ambages is a decorative display face from Font Monkey where every letterform is constructed from Greek meander patterns, those angular, labyrinthine borders found in ancient ceramics and architecture. The result is letters that read as both geometric puzzles and typographic characters, bold enough to hold together at headline sizes but dense with interlocking path-like detail. Best reserved for display use where the maze-like construction can be appreciated, from posters and logos to anything that needs a classical ornamental edge.
