Aspastic is a heavy, eroded display face with letterforms that look like they've been left to decay, each character pitted and corroded in a way that feels genuinely rough rather than decoratively distressed. The bold weight keeps things legible despite all the grit, making it usable for headlines, horror-themed work, and grungy poster designs where clean type would feel wrong. A public domain release, so it's been floating around the free font world for a while.
