Bakeneko
by Mark Molybdn
Bakeneko is a pixel-based display face from Mark Molybdén with angular, blocky letterforms that carry a subtle Japanese-inspired flavor in their construction. The geometric characters feel like they belong in a retro game with an 8-bit Edo aesthetic, sharp and digital but with just enough personality to stand apart from generic pixel fonts. Best used at large sizes for headers, game UI, or any project where lo-fi digital charm meets Eastern design sensibility.
