Batik

Batik is a typewriter face with heavily worn, textured letterforms that look like they were hammered out on a ribbon running dry. The distressed strikes and uneven ink coverage give it a gritty, vintage quality that goes well beyond standard monospace nostalgia. Best used for headlines and short-form display text where you want something that feels physically aged, like a found document or a faded label.
