Baxter's Slab is a bold, blocky slab serif from Chequered Ink with heavy, condensed letterforms that pack a lot of punch into tight spaces. The uppercase-only design and thick rectangular serifs give it a rugged, Western-influenced personality, like something stamped onto a saloon sign or wanted poster. Best kept to headlines and display use where its sheer weight can do the talking.
