Broken Squares is a distressed display face from D3 where each letterform is built on a rigid square grid, then fractured and worn down as if the characters are cracking apart. The rough, textured breaks give it a raw, industrial quality that works for headlines, posters, and packaging where you want structure and decay happening at the same time. Strictly a large-size typeface, since the detail in the broken edges disappears at smaller scales.
