Burton Scratch

Burton Scratch is a thin, scratchy display face by Fidel Mendoza with jittery, hand-drawn letterforms that look like they were etched into a surface with something sharp. The irregular strokes and rough edges give it a nervous, unsettling energy, landing firmly in horror and Halloween territory. Best kept to headlines and short text where that spooky, Tim Burton-esque atmosphere can do its thing without becoming hard to read.
