Codex Gigas
by Carles Garrigues Ubeda · Website
Codex Gigas is an uncial display face by Carles Garrigues Ubeda, named after the famous 13th-century manuscript sometimes called the Devil's Bible. The letterforms carry the rounded, open structure of medieval uncial script with a dark, heavy presence that feels pulled from an illuminated codex. Best used at large sizes for headlines, chapter titles, or anything rooted in historical, gothic, or manuscript-inspired design where you want genuine weight and atmosphere.
