Deeter

Deeter is an experimental display face by Daniel Plant where each letterform is constructed from horizontal stripes, giving the type a layered, screen-like texture. The underlying geometry is bold and sturdy, but the striped treatment breaks it up into something more visual and abstract. Works best at large sizes for headlines, posters, or editorial design where you want type that doubles as a graphic element.
