Elder Futhark

by Curtis Clark

Elder Futhark by Curtis Clark is a decorative face based on the actual runic alphabet used by Germanic and Norse peoples from roughly the 2nd to 8th centuries. The letterforms faithfully reproduce the angular, carved quality of historical rune inscriptions, giving it a raw, ancient presence that works for fantasy games, Viking-themed projects, and medieval design. Strictly a display font, best used sparingly for titles, logos, or atmospheric detail where you want something that feels genuinely old rather than generically mystical.
