Escheresk

by Tobias Sommer

Escheresk is a modular display face by Tobias Sommer that takes clear inspiration from M.C. Escher's impossible geometry, with letterforms built from interlocking angular shapes that play tricks on the eye. The bold, uppercase-only character set is constructed on a strict grid, giving each letter an architectural, almost puzzle-like quality. Best reserved for headlines, posters, and graphic work where the optical illusion factor can really land.
