Gourmandise is an ultra-bold Didone from ClaudeP that pushes the contrast between thick verticals and hairline serifs to dramatic extremes. The heavy letterforms carry real visual authority while still reading as elegant, sitting comfortably in the tradition of high-contrast display serifs used for fashion editorials, luxury packaging, and editorial headlines. At smaller sizes the fine strokes will disappear, so keep it big.
