Gycentium Popwell is a bold slab serif from Ariq Sya with a sturdy, typewriter-inflected character that recalls mid-century print and institutional signage. The letterforms are heavy but readable, with thick, squared-off serifs that anchor each character firmly on the baseline. It works well for headlines and vintage-leaning branding, and holds up surprisingly well in shorter passages of body text where you want something with more visual weight than a typical serif.
