HL2MP is the geometric display face used in Half-Life 2's multiplayer interface, designed by Valve Software. The letterforms are angular and minimalist, with a cold, utilitarian edge that fits right into the game's dystopian sci-fi world. Outside of gaming nostalgia, it still holds up for headlines and UI work where you want something that reads as stark and futuristic without a lot of visual noise.
