Hydrogen Type is a bitmap display face from Vic Fieger built on a visible dot grid, giving each character the clinical glow of early digital readouts and laboratory monitors. The monospace spacing and pixel-precise construction keep it rooted in retro-technical territory, somewhere between a 1980s oscilloscope and a mainframe terminal. Best at larger sizes for display use, where the grid structure reads as deliberate rather than low-res.
