Jailed Celts is a decorative display face by Matias Romero that pulls off an unusual combination of Celtic ornamentation and Art Deco geometry. The letterforms feel caged within rigid, stylized structures, giving them a medieval quality filtered through a much more modern, angular sensibility. Best used at large sizes for headlines, posters, or themed projects where that collision of old and new can really register.
