Lazy Monk is a dark, angular blackletter from Mirco Zett with a deliberately worn texture that makes it feel like it was stamped from a crumbling medieval woodblock. The distressed edges and heavy gothic strokes give it a brooding, atmospheric quality, somewhere between old monastery manuscript and horror title card. Best kept to headlines and display use where the textured detail and dense letterforms can really come through.
