Magical Springtime is a narrow, thin display face from Xerographer Fonts that completely contradicts its cheerful name. The hand-drawn letterforms are scratchy and irregular, with rough edges and an unsettling unevenness that reads more like a horror movie title card than anything pastoral. It works best in headlines and short text where its spindly, condensed proportions and distressed texture can set an eerie, off-kilter mood.
