Mild East is a bold, italic slab serif from Jake Luedecke with a hatched texture cut into its letterforms, giving it the look of old woodcut type weathered by sun and dust. The forward lean and distressed finish push it firmly into Western and frontier territory, right at home on saloon signage, whiskey labels, and rustic branding. It's a headline face through and through, with too much personality packed into each letter to waste on small sizes.
