Open-Dyslexic

by Abelardo Gonzalez

Open-Dyslexic is a humanist sans-serif by Abelardo Gonzalez designed specifically to improve readability for people with dyslexia. The letterforms use heavier weighted bottoms to help anchor each character and reduce the visual confusion of letters rotating or flipping in the reader's mind. It's a functional body text face first and foremost, prioritizing legibility and accessibility over style, though its slightly quirky shapes give it a friendly, approachable presence on screen and in print.
