Picksuhl
by Jeff Bensch · Website
Picksuhl is a pixel-based italic display face by Jeff Bensch, with blocky 8-bit letterforms tilted forward to give them a sense of urgency uncommon in retro bitmap fonts. The monospace structure keeps everything locked to a rigid grid while the italic slant adds movement, making it feel like scrolling terminal output or a retro game's score screen mid-action. Best at larger sizes for headlines and digital nostalgia projects where you want that classic low-res look with a little more energy than the usual static pixel font.
