Pillbox Opaque

Pillbox Opaque is a blackletter face from Vic Fieger that roughens up traditional gothic letterforms with a heavy layer of grit and distortion. The medieval bones are still there, but the distressed edges give it a darker, more aggressive character that pulls it toward horror, metal, and punk contexts rather than illuminated manuscripts. Best kept to headlines and short display text where the dense, grimy details can do their work.
