Pixel Grunge

Pixel Grunge by Ren Zarate takes the rigid grid of bitmap type and roughens it up, adding a gritty, worn texture to each blocky letterform. The result splits the difference between clean pixel fonts and something that's been photocopied a few too many times. It's a monospace display face best kept to headlines, retro game aesthetics, or digital artwork where you want that lo-fi crunch with some real dirt on it.
