Portishead Dummy

by Martins Rudzitis

Portishead Dummy is an ultra-condensed grotesque from Martins Rudzitis, with uppercase letterforms squeezed so narrow they feel almost like vertical slabs. The bold weight keeps it punchy despite the extreme compression, and the tall, compact proportions make it useful for headlines, posters, and tight layouts where you need to pack a lot of text into very little horizontal space. There's a raw, no-frills quality to it that fits right in with editorial design and typographic experimentation.
