Pray for Japan

by Adien Gunarta · Website

Pray for Japan is a thin, decorative display face by Adien Gunarta that stylizes Latin letterforms to resemble the brushstroke geometry of Japanese characters. The result is something distinctly cultural and ornamental, with each letter carrying angular, eastern-influenced shapes that read more as visual texture than standard typography. Best reserved for headlines, posters, and themed design work where the cultural reference is intentional and appropriate.
