Railroad Roman is a wide, high-contrast serif from Benn Coifman with the vertical stress and hairline-to-thick stroke variation characteristic of the Didone tradition. Its uppercase letterforms carry a formal, slightly ornamental quality that sets it apart from more restrained modern serifs. Best at display sizes for headlines, titles, and elegant branding where the delicate thin strokes won't disappear.
