Roman New Times is a distressed serif from winty5 that takes the familiar proportions of traditional roman typefaces and roughens them up with hand-drawn irregularity and visible texture. The letterforms feel like they were printed on a worn letterpress, with chipped edges and uneven strokes that give everything a lived-in, vintage quality. Best kept to headlines and display use where the rough character can read as intentional rather than noisy.
