Tom's New Roman
by Divide by Zero · Website
Tom's New Roman is a transitional serif from Divide by Zero that takes the familiar bones of classical Roman type and introduces just enough irregularity to make things interesting. The letterforms keep a traditional serif structure but feel slightly off-kilter, with quirky proportions and subtle inconsistencies that give it a personality most transitional faces deliberately avoid. Best used for headlines and display work where you want something that reads as literate but not too serious.
