Varsity Playbook from KC Fonts combines the rigid structure of typewriter letterforms with a heavily distressed, beaten-up texture that makes everything look like it was hammered out on a machine that's seen better days. The roughness has a sporty, vintage quality to it, like old playbook pages or worn athletic program covers. Bold enough for headlines and posters, but the grunge keeps it from feeling too clean or corporate.
