Varsity Team is a heavy, uppercase slab serif from Don Marciano that splits the difference between collegiate athletic lettering and old Western wood type. The bold, blocky letterforms carry thick serifs and a no-nonsense stance, giving it the kind of weight you'd expect on jersey numbers, team logos, or stadium signage. Best kept to headlines and short display text where its muscular proportions can do the talking.
