Vuur is a bold, heavy display face from Chris Ando with a distinctive striped texture running through each letterform, giving the type a layered, almost engraved quality. The underlying shapes are geometric and sturdy, but the horizontal line treatment turns what would be a straightforward block letter into something far more visually interesting. Best kept to headlines, posters, and branding moments where the decorative detail can read clearly at large sizes.
