Windlass is a textured serif from Gabriela Güther with a weathered, salt-worn quality that feels pulled from the side of an old fishing vessel or harbor signpost. The distressed letterforms carry a rustic, nautical character, with enough grit and decay to read as genuinely aged rather than artificially roughed up. Best at headline sizes for vintage branding, coastal themes, or packaging where you want type that looks like it's seen some weather.
