Year Book Mess is a bold slab serif from Randy Ford with a rough, beaten-up texture that splits the difference between vintage western signage and old collegiate lettering. The distressed surface gives every character a worn, photocopied quality, like type that's been printed and reprinted too many times. Best kept to headlines and display use where that weathered, slightly nostalgic grit is the whole point.
