Zaibatsu is a bold, heavy display face by Andreas Johansson that mimics the visual rhythm of Japanese brushstroke characters using Latin letterforms. The strokes are thick and angular, with deliberate flourishes that give each letter an unmistakably East Asian-inspired silhouette. It's a decorative headline font through and through, landing naturally on restaurant signage, event posters, and themed packaging where that faux-Japanese aesthetic is the whole point.
