Academic M54 is a bold condensed slab serif drawn directly from the tradition of American college and university athletic lettering. The heavy strokes, sturdy bracketed serifs, and tight proportions give it the same authority found on varsity jerseys and campus emblems. It includes alternate glyphs for several characters, adding flexibility for logo and emblem work.
