Antistar is a tall condensed display serif with theatrical high stroke contrast and sharp wedge serifs drawn from Art Nouveau and Victorian poster traditions. Decorative ball and teardrop terminals on select characters give it an ornate, occult edge that sets it apart from a plain gothic revival. It commands attention at large sizes and suits anything with a dark, vintage, or dramatic tone.
