Birgine is a high-contrast modern serif rooted in the Didone tradition, with extreme variation between its razor-thin hairlines and robust vertical stems. The wide, open proportions and flat unbracketed serifs give it a contemporary fashion-editorial feel. It thrives at large sizes where the contrast drama can fully register.
