Brushings

Brushings is a typewriter face from Xerographer Fonts with heavily worn, uneven letterforms that look like they were hammered out on a ribbon that should have been replaced long ago. The distressed texture and irregular impressions give it a gritty, documentary feel, closer to found evidence than clean typography. Best at headline sizes where the roughness and character of each strike can really come through.
