Dayaknese

Dayaknese is a decorative display font inspired by talawang, the traditional carved shields of the Dayak people of Borneo. Each character is packed with intricate scroll and knotwork ornaments embedded directly into the strokes, alongside sharp pointed terminals that give the design a distinctly tribal edge. The result sits somewhere between medieval woodcut and Southeast Asian indigenous craft.
