Discounted is a chunky rounded block display font with a bold inline outline effect that gives each letter a layered, engraved look. The heavy condensed proportions and deeply rounded corners pull strongly from 1970s display typography, that era of thick rounded lettering found on game show graphics and fast-food signage. It hits hard at large sizes and carries a retro pop energy that's hard to fake.
