Emiken Display is a heavy retro serif with extreme stroke contrast and wide, curvaceous proportions drawn from the groovy typography of the late 1960s and 70s. The thick stems swell dramatically against hairline-thin strokes, and the organic bracketed serifs give it a warmth that separates it from a cold modern fatface. It hits hardest at poster and headline sizes where that contrast can breathe.
