Frau is a wide, bold geometric sans with rounded corners and a built-in inline shadow that gives every letter a dimensional, almost hand-painted sign feel. The stacked outline-plus-inline-plus-shadow construction is all done in-font, so the retro depth effect requires no extra work. It leans heavily into mid-century American display typography.
