Gronau

by Zetafonts · Website

Gronau is a blackletter revival rooted in Wilhelm Gronau's 1902 typeface Fette Reichs-Deutsch, digitized and extended by Andrea Tartarelli. Where most gothic types lean on spiky fragility, this one goes broad and geometric: thick stems, mild contrast, and clean 45-degree angles give it an almost architectural solidity. The result is a blackletter that feels contemporary and energetic rather than archaic.
