Hand Textur is a heavy blackletter face from Peter Wiegel that stays close to the traditional Textura style found in medieval German manuscripts and early printed books. The letterforms are dense and angular, with the characteristic tight vertical rhythm and diamond-shaped feet of the genre. Best at headline sizes for historical projects, beer labels, certificates, or anything that calls for authentic gothic weight.
