Hikayat is an ultra-thin modern serif with extreme stroke contrast and barely-there hairlines that give it a skeletal, high-fashion elegance. Rooted in Didone tradition, it pushes the weight to its thinnest possible extreme, making every character feel almost drawn in air. Best used large, where the contrast between its ghost-thin horizontals and delicate verticals can be properly appreciated.
