Hoffmann is a bold gothic blackletter with wide, heavy proportions and sharp, angular terminals. The thick strokes and medieval construction give it an imposing presence rooted firmly in the blackletter tradition. It works best large, where the dramatic contrast and gothic texture can fully register.
