Hot Bone

Hot Bone is an eccentric display sans with wildly inconsistent letter widths and weights, where some characters collapse into dense black blobs and others stretch open and skeletal. That deliberate inconsistency gives it the raw energy of hand-painted signage or chalk lettering. Created in collaboration with Ghost Sign Studios in Portland, Oregon, it carries a distinctly indie, handcrafted spirit.
