Hotlady is a wide, heavy slab-serif built on near-monoweight strokes and thick rectangular serifs with no bracketing. The characters have a confident, mechanical quality rooted in mid-century American display type. It reads strongly at large sizes and carries a vintage directness suited to headlines, posters, and bold branding.
